Banks chase IT solutions | Telco, Internet and IT

Banks in the GCC are matching their international counterparts in deploying the latest banking solutions, according to a study done by Dubai-based Madar Research Group. The study says that of the $1bn spent on IT by the GCC banking industry, 40% is devoted to IT infrastructure expansion and upgrade with a focus on security issues.
