Spectacular CU website: Coast Capital Savings
stumbled upon the new website for a Canadian credit union yesterday. It’s for Coast Capital Savings, and it’s hands down in the top 1% of credit union sites (and CU marketing in general, for that matter).
I liked:
- multiple bill payment design – blindingly simple, and best in class
- clean simple design
- use of humour
- secure home page

Great point about the simplicity of their bill payment tools. I’d not gone through their Online Banking demo, so that was new to me. I’m thinking with how easy it is for a web developer to use screen capture software for demos, why don’t more banks and credit unions use video demos in the help sections of their websites?
Trey … I like the point about online video demo’s. I think most banks are stuck in the mode of being concerned about the lowest common denominator customer, on dial up. First of all they are so few nowadadays on dial up, and secondly thats no reason to deprive those on cable, and DSL.
