I can now direct you to the new RBC Financial Group initiative, directed at the student market. It is live today.
I can confirm, a blog is to follow. This will happen sometime in November, and will be directed at answering students questions about the competition included in the web site.
More analysis later, but kudos to RBC!

Colin – Amazing scoop …
It smells a little like UMB’s My Ugly Room campaign and blog, but I think this will be much more effective. Where UMB’s wasn’t very serious (they just a competition for whoever had the ugliest room in their house), this Next Great Innovator Challenge can be taken seriously. They’re asking their users to help them brand the company. Interesting.
And its very strategic, seeking answers to questions like:
“Can financial institutions fully satisfy the needs of today’s teens on their own, or will they have to explore partnerships in order to address shortcomings or bolster offerings?”
RBC will gain much learning & insight from this.
