So its official on the much debated Scoble secret trip.  Scoble is throwing his blogging weight, behind John Edwards in the expected bid for US President, that will be announced tomorrow.

Scoble is one of the top independent bloggers in the world, and this is an interesting transition.

Tech Chronicles has confirmed with Robert Scoble that he’s embarking on an out-of-state trip into the world of politics: He’s been invited to help former Democratic VP candidate John Edwards announce his presidential bid in New Orleans tomorrow. He flies out today.

UPDATE:  Roberts post at 10:20pm tonight outlines the background to the trip.  This post highlights why I read his blog.  He is categorically honest about disclosure, and somehow blazes the blogging trail with complete independence.  While I don’t agree with everything he says, you have to respect that, and he serves as the role model of how blogging works and what sets it apart.
