Snap preview – thumbs up, or down?

I just noticed that WordPress have turned on these Snap previews, when you hover over a link.  Its cool the first time, but I think it gets annoying.  It might be handy for the comments area.

Let me know either way in the comments – thumbs up or thumbs down?

There is an option somewhere, that I can turn it off.  I will let it ride for a bit, and based on reaction, will decide.

  1. I’m turning them off on my site. Here’s why:

    1) I’m too damn old to read them.
    2) I figure it’s better for the people I link to if my site visitors actually have to click through.

  2. I kinda like it. Helps me decide if I’m going to click through or not. What I don’t like though is the “Queued for Capture – Come Back Shortly” message it likes to throw up occasionally.

  3. You are the first positive one 🙂
Seriously it might be one of those things that grows on a person. I am always suspicious of links, and anything that reduces the risk is a very good thing.
