iContract point out the lack of attention to Wikipedia for Banks is contributing to a view they might regret. For example, Citi and Enron.
Some examples I came across, that are not how those institutions would prefer to be positioned:
- Barclays Bank: Legal action dating from the ’70s in Africa
- Bank of Montreal: “Each of the client groups operates under multiple brand names”
- Bank of America: In 2004, a California jury decided that Bank of America had illegally raided the Social Security benefits of a million customers.
- Wells Fargo: reads well – talks about the vision and alignment to business strategy etc.
Note: I checked the Wiki edit history, and no prizes for which Bank I recognized contributors to the Wiki. Some Banks get Internet, and others …. hmmmm
