First time I have seen this since signing up for Google Apps. No complaints here yet … its been fast, and highly reliable so far. Just noting for the record.

Hi Google is aware of the problem. This only affects some users. Remember to back up.. I have added a link to a solution on my GMAIL outage post
very annoying for me too!
Gmail went down last summer for THREE DAYS. It was impossible to get any kind of answers from them and extremely frustrating. I still have my gmail account, but I know not to trust it 100%. It is still in Beta, and that’s the excuse they will give as a response to any complaint. “Don’t use gmail as your primary email source” stated one tech. Great. Now you tell me.
