TikTok is under investigation in Europe and Canada


Following the EU decision to ban TikTok on employee devices, Canada has launched four separate investigations into ByteDance privacy practices. EU Bloomberg The European Commission suspended staff from using TikTok Inc. over security concerns related to the social media app’s data-collection practices. Staff were ordered to delete the short-video app from mobile phones and corporate devices, including personal devices that use commission apps, a commission spokesperson confirmed on Thursday. US Housing Market shrinks by 5%


Bloomberg reports on state of US housing value. This will result in distress sales and new demand for alternative funding for Banks. The US housing market shrunk. By a lot. After peaking at $47.7 trillion in June, the total value of homes declined by $2.3 trillion, or 4.9%, in the second half of 2022.
